Description

Architectural Concept:

This countryside bungalow draws inspiration from traditional rural architecture, blending harmoniously with the natural landscape. It prioritizes simplicity, functionality, and a strong connection to the outdoors.

Exterior:

The bungalow is a single-story structure with a gabled roof covered in weathered cedar shingles that have taken on a soft gray patina over the years. The exterior walls are clad in warm, earthy tones of locally sourced stone and reclaimed wood, giving it a rustic and inviting appearance. A wide, covered porch wraps around the front of the house, providing a welcoming entry and a shaded space for outdoor relaxation.

Large windows, framed with white trim, offer expansive views of the surrounding countryside and allow ample natural light to flow into the interior. Flower boxes beneath some of the windows add a touch of color and charm to the facade.

Interior:

Upon entering the bungalow, you step into a cozy and open living space. The interior features exposed wooden beams on the ceiling, creating a sense of warmth and rustic elegance. The living room is centered around a stone fireplace, which serves as the heart of the home and a focal point for gatherings during chilly evenings.

The kitchen is designed with functionality and aesthetics in mind. It features custom, handmade wooden cabinets, a farmhouse sink, and a large center island with a butcher-block countertop. French doors from the kitchen open onto a spacious rear patio, creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living.

The two bedrooms are designed with comfort in mind, each featuring large windows that frame picturesque views of the countryside. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a clawfoot bathtub and a separate shower. Both bedrooms are decorated with a mix of vintage and modern furnishings that enhance the cozy atmosphere.

Outdoor Spaces:

The property surrounding the bungalow is a blend of manicured gardens and wildflower meadows. A stone path winds through the gardens, leading to a small pond with a wooden deck for serene moments of reflection. A vegetable garden at the rear of the house provides fresh produce for the residents.

In the backyard, there's a detached, small barn-style garage with a loft that can be used for storage or as a workshop. A fire pit area is nestled under the shade of old oak trees, perfect for starry nights and gatherings with friends and family.
